Scenes Along Old Trails

"Geraniums"
24""x 18" Oil/panel

"A window on an ancient home in Cushing, Maine. Painted many times by a very famous artist….holds a special memory of mine ."

"One spring Day in Acuna"
Artist Reserve

"This painting has been exhibited many times, with reactions such as 'Oh, look at all those poor people,' 'Why would you paint something so depressing?' The title is 'One Spring Day……..' NOT 'One Poor Day in Acuna.' This is stark realism….not poverty. In this case, the truth and answers lie in the details. Does it even require a comment? It's not exhibited anymore."

"Landscape Arch"
20"x48" acrylic/canvas  $5,000

Arches detail

"Landscape Arch" Detail

"Arches National Park, Utah. It was a rainy day, I had to hike to this spot so I could capture this image with the sky under the arch. It took 4 photos to get this image. There was a tour from Germany there, 10 are shown here in the painting, all wearing matching white jackets, sort of gives you a scale of it."

Sunny Days and Dusty Roads
